A Multi-Tenant Business OS Replacing 7 Tools With One Platform

The Problem

Growing businesses end up buried under disconnected tools: a CRM here, billing software there, separate proposal software, project management, support ticketing, and a training system — each with its own subscription, its own data silo, and no single view of the business. Owners waste hours jumping between tools, records drift out of sync, and deals fall through the cracks.

The goal: one multi-tenant platform where a company manages its entire operation — sales, orders, billing, projects, support, and training — with everything connected.

What I Built

A multi-tenant, multi-company business management platform with 230+ features, organized into integrated modules:

  • CRM & Sales: organizations, companies, contacts, and a deals/leads pipeline with email sync and full interaction history.
  • Proposal Builder: a widget-based builder for polished proposals clients can view, discuss, and e-sign online. When a client pays a proposal, the system automatically creates the project — sale to delivery with zero re-entry.
  • Work Order module: create and edit work orders (change orders), generate purchase orders, and request inventory through multiple integrated warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Billing & Subscriptions: securely stored payment methods, one-off and recurring billing per client, payment collection via Stripe, Authorize.net and others — with an extensive QuickBooks + Intuit Payments integration keeping every transaction synced to accounting automatically.
  • Hundreds of integrations across taxes, discounts, coupons, payment processors, and warehouse systems.
  • Project Management, Support Ticketing, and LMS: tasks/subtasks with client collaboration, ticket assignment with performance reporting, and staff training with checklists.
  • Custom dashboards and reports so each company tailors its workspace to its own workflow.

Architecture Highlights

  • True multi-tenancy: each company gets isolated data and configuration on shared infrastructure.
  • Sale-to-cash automation: proposal → e-sign → payment → project → subscription billing → QuickBooks, as one connected chain instead of five manual handoffs.

Results

  • Replaces 6–7 separate software subscriptions (CRM, proposals, billing, PM, ticketing, LMS) with one platform — customers report scaling operations without adding tools or headcount.
  • Multiple companies run their full operations on the platform — individual clients have processed over $1M in orders each through the Work Order and billing modules.
  • In production for years, serving multiple companies live at grandcentr.al.
